La Morochita

In the small town of Santa Ana in the Venezuelan Island of Margarita, Alicia, 70, better known locally as La Morochita, is a radio presenter who airs her program every Saturday morning. She rides her bicycle around the town and the island. She is probably best known for dancing La Burriquita, a folkloric dance in a handmade costume of a donkey. This is a short a documentary about a woman that shines happiness but deep inside she carries the pain of a murdered son.
